Farewell to Fr. Roshan and Fr. Joswin at Don Bosco School, Trasi

Don Bosco School, Trasi bid an emotional farewell to two of its most beloved leaders, Fr. Roshan D’Souza and Fr. Joswin D’Souza, during a solemn and heartfelt ceremony held on 5th June 2025 in the School Auditorium at 9:30 am.

The event was attended by students, staff, parents, alumni, and well-wishers, all gathered to express their gratitude and admiration for the tireless service and inspiring leadership of the two priests who played a pivotal role in the growth and were instrumental in making the school a family.

The program began with a prayer service, seeking blessings for Fr. Roshan and Fr. Joswin as they embark on new journeys. This was followed by a series of touching speeches, cultural tributes, and musical performances by students and staff, each reflecting the impact the two priests leave behind.

The Rector and Principal, Fr. Maxim D’Souza in his farewell address, acknowledged the dedication, compassion, and the profound influence the priests had on the school community. "Their presence was a blessing to Don Bosco School, Trasi. Their commitment to nurturing not just minds, but hearts and values, will continue to inspire us", he concluded.

Fr. Roshan and Fr. Joswin, in their parting addresses, expressed heartfelt thanks to the school community for their love and support over the years. They recalled cherished memories and encouraged the students to stay rooted in faith, values and excellence.

The citation and mementoes were presented to both priests as symbols of the school’s deep gratitude. The event was solemn and emotional, as Bosconians of Trasi wished the priests the best for their future, bidding them adieu with an overwhelming heart.
