Freshers’ Day was celebrated with great fervour at Don Bosco School, Trasi on 6thJune 2025at9:30 am in the School Auditorium. The event marked a cheerful welcome to the new batch of students of the Junior College joining the Don Bosco family.
The auditorium was beautifully decorated to reflect the spirit of hospitality and joy, with Senior Secondary Students, Teachers and Staff putting together a vibrant program to make the newcomers feel at home. The day began with a short prayer service seeking blessings for a fruitful academic year, followed by a welcome address.
Cultural performances included dances, which were interspersed with games for the freshers as well as for the audience. A highlight of the celebration was the interactive games segment, which broke the ice between the juniors and seniors, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community.
The Rector and Principal, Fr. Maxim D’Souza addressed the Freshers and encouraged them to embrace the values and opportunities that Don Bosco School, Trasi offers. He reminded students of the school’s vision to not only impart academic excellence but to nurture responsible, value-driven individuals.“Freshers’ Day is not just a welcome, but a beginning to a new chapter of growth, learning, and friendship”, he added.
The program ended on a cheerful note, where all the freshers felt homely and welcomed.
