Rector’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 16th August 2025 in the School Auditorium at 9:30 am, marking the birthday of our School Patron, St. John Bosco. Don Bosco School, Trasicelebrated Rector’s Day in honour of the Rector and Principal, Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza.
The celebration began with a warm welcome ceremony, followed by the cutting of the cake ceremony. A heartfelt address was presented to the Rector by the students. The cultural program was filled with energetic dance performances by the students of Classes V to VIII, which added colour and vibrance to the occasion.
The Vice Principal, in his speech, described Fr. Maxim D’Souza as a disciplined person who is always creative in his work. He highlighted the special bond the Rector shares with the students, often making them laugh, while his wisdom and broad vision inspires the school community.
The Principal, in his address, shared about the life of Don Bosco, who dedicated himself to the upliftment of young people. He emphasized that students must follow the path of Don Bosco, guided by values of love, discipline, and service.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which marked a dignified end to the celebration. The entire event was well coordinated under the guidance of Tr. Anusha, who was the in-charge of the program.
The celebration was indeed meaningful, filled with joy, reverence, and admiration for both Don Bosco’s legacy and the dedicated service of our Rector, Fr. Maxim D’Souza.
