Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and heartfelt gratitude at Don Bosco CBSE School, Trasi on 4th September 2025, to honour and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our teachers. The celebration commenced at 11 a.m. in the School Auditorium.
Teachers were given a grand welcome with spark lights, flowers and greetings, symbolizing respect and admiration. The program began with a prayer service led by the school choir group. The traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony was followed by the floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, by all the members of the management and teachers who graced the dais. All the educators were given a floral welcome individually by the Principal, with a smiley badge. The cutting of the cake ceremony followed, marking a sweet beginning to the event.
The students of Classes VI to XI presented a variety of performances to express their gratitude and entertain their teachers. Their dazzling performances were a sight to behold. The Class XII students conducted various games for the teachers, who took part in each activity enthusiastically.
Tr. Smitha Kumari shared her beautiful journey of over a decade in Don Bosco School, Trasi. She shared her experience and a note of gratitude to all the stakeholders who made working in this institution possible.
The Student Council presented all the teachers, a token of love and appreciation in the form of gifts. Prizes were presented to teachers who won their respective games during the program.
The Rector and Principal, Fr. Maxim D’Souza addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of teachers in society and motivating everyone to uphold the values of education and dedication. He appreciated the efforts of the teacher in making Don Bosco School, Trasi, an outstanding school and a family to nurture the students.
The program came to an end with the distribution of delicious snacks and drinks. Following the lunch for the teachers, the students conducted a game of housie, cricket, and dodgeball. The day ended with a dance session where the teachers and the students enjoyed together. All the teachers appreciated the student members of School Cabinet and Junior College for hosting a grand celebration and a beautiful day to remember.
