The Grand Finale of the Summer Thrill – 2019 was held on April 26, 2019. Mr. Reuben Braggs, the finalist of Konkani Dance reality show “Naach Nara Naach Nari” was invited as the chief guest. Along with Fr. Leo Pereira, Rector, Fr. Merwin Fernandes, Br. Arnold Mathias and Br. Nestor Furtado he inaugurated the program. About 130 students had participated in the camp, of which many displayed their learnings during the program. Hence there was a wide variety in the program which included singing, skits, dances, instrumentals, skating display and drawing display. Mr. Reuben performed an electrifying dance on the occasion. In his speech he profusely praised the efforts of Salesian fathers take in educating the young. He praised the students for taking interest in such activities and asked them to pursue their dreams and keep their interest continued. He thanked the Salesian fathers, the trainers and the volunteers for doing a wonderful job. Fr. Leo Pereira praised the children for their wonderful participation. Br. Arnold delivered the vote of thanks. Finally the prize distribution was held.

The 20 days long festivities were planned and conducted by Fr. Merwin Fernandes, Br. Arnold Mathias and Br. Nester Furtado with the help, guidance and support of Fr. Leo Pereira, the Rector and Fr. Maxim D’souza, the Principal of Don Bosco School, Trasi. A special word of thanks to all the trainers, teachers, non teaching staff, cooking staff and 22 past pupils who helped as volunteers and made the camp memorable one.
